Coffe Talk...With Wine. Stress & Persevering Through Tough Times

So I've been thinking for a while now about starting a series on my blog/YouTube channel and I've come up with one called "coffee talk." I figured I could discuss topics that are relevant to my life or might be relevant to some of my readers/viewers. Watch the video below or read on for more information!


Without revealing too many personal details, I've been dealing with a number of tough/stressful situations over the past couple of months. Trying to remain positive is difficult at times, and some days are better than others, but here is my best advice (to you and to myself), of what to do if you find yourself in a difficult, stressful situation:

  1. Surround yourself with positive people who make you happy and bring out your happiness
  2. Seek out advice from your loved ones, friends, co-workers, or whomever you feel comfortable sharing your feelings/thoughts with
  3. Focus on your blessings and things you have to be grateful for. These can be the smallest things, but we all have many reasons to be grateful
  4. Keep yourself busy
  5. Do something you enjoy/that makes you happy
  6. If you feel like you can't handle the stress on your own don't be afraid to seek professional help. That's what they're there for!
